Birthday Celebrations

Even though Aubrey and Ronin both had their birthdays in May, they wanted to wait on the celebrating for when their dad was home.   So here we are in June finally getting around to it.

These two have a typical brother-sister relationship.

They either love each other or are completely annoyed by one another.   Although Ronin does more of the annoying and teasing and Aubrey does more of the putting up with it.  That's what little brothers are for, right?

Aubrey chose a Turtle Pie for her birthday cake.

We surprised Ronin with a How to Train Your Dragon cake.

Since the ice cream pie was frozen solid, we only managed to get 3 candles to stick in it for Aubrey to blow out.

Opening presents time.

Ronin received his first set of scriptures from his grandparents.  His name is engraved on each one of them.

Jed and I got Aubs one very nice mountain bike along with all her softball gear.
We are hoping to get the kids interested in mountain biking down the road....it'll be a fun thing to do together as a family. I'm excited for that. :)

It's wonderful and sad at the same time to see how much Aubrey has grown over the years. The other day she reminded me that in a year and a half she'll be learning to drive.   This didn't help me feel any better.

Happy Birthday, kids!  We love you bunches!

  1. So cute! Aubrey looks so grown up... I know you don't want to hear that but she sure is turning into a beautiful young woman!
