Sledding Fun

Me and the boys had a blast sledding at Presto Hill yesterday.  There was just enough snow to make it work.  :)

Everything Christmas

Let's start from the beginning of everything Christmas, shall we?  :)

First, we visited Santa Claus at the Ward Christmas Party.

Second, we decorated the Christmas tree.

Actually, the tree got decorated over and over and over again.

Next came the Christmas Eve get-together at Carl and Judy's house (my parents) where we hold our yearly Christmas program.

Jed's mother and grandfather joined us this year as well.

My grandpa, Glenn, and Lisa, Sterling, and Briggs.

Connor played two numbers (the ones from his piano recital.)

Ronin played "We Three Kings."

I think Ronin was going for "Entertainer of the Year."

My goodness, this kid just keeps bringing it, lol.

Rigdon didn't know what he was going to do, so he opted to do nothing this time.

As for our whole family, we put together this "Nuttn' for Christmas" video to count as our performance (we already posted this earlier) -

Christmas morning -
The kids checking out all their stuff after opening them.

Santa surprised Aubrey with a recurve bow and arrows.  She loved it!

Rigdon with his new Captain America legos.

Connor loves the Piano Guys.

Both Connor and Ronin got electric scooters.

Grandma Kriss joined us so she could watch our kids open their presents.

Me - trying to untie and cut all those pesky cords.

Buzz Light Year to the rescue!!!!

Braving the cold, Aubrey tried out her new bow until her fingers were too frozen to move.

Later, we visited my parents again for a short time.

Rigdon telling Grandma and Grandpa all about his Buzz Light Year and how his wings come out and everything.

Grandma and Grandpa with all those crazy kids of ours.

Then we went over-the-river-and-through-the-woods to Jed's grandfather's house for the afternoon.
Where there were more presents to open.

Jed with his mom, Kriss.

The kids all walked away with several gift cards.  So the next day we took them all shopping.

Rigdon was so excited to get this:
He feels like a real knight now.  He's ready to go slay some dragons!

Not only did it come with a sword and shield, but a bow and two arrows.  He's spent the last few days perfecting his skills at archery.

Connor and Ronin both came home with several lego sets.

They liked Rigdon's knight stuff too.

Ronin bought a few nerf guns and so there's been an all out warfare going on at our house.  Visitors beware!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!
