Summer came and went so quickly. I didn't get around to posting everything that went on with our family. But here's a few pictures to wrap up summer:
Backyard Campout -
Since we couldn't get around to camping out in the wilderness as much as we wanted, Jed set up the tent in the backyard for a few weeks so the kids could still have a chance to sleep outside.
I don't think there was much sleep happening with all these monkeys in one tent.

Youth Conference - Aubrey attended a two day religious youth conference at BYU-Idaho. She had a tremendous amount of fun and came home spirtually filled. She said it was an amazing and powerful experience.
Since Jed is one of the youth leaders in our church ward, he got to go too. Aubrey was stuck at his hip nearly the entire time. Still a daddy's girl through and through. :)

My parents took our boys to a Utah Jazz basketball game one weekend.

In July, Connor experienced his first airplane ride...EVER. He was pretty excited.
He had a window seat and took a few pictures.
This airplane ride took him to Texas to visit his cousins with my parents. Connor got to visit the Alamo!
Connor with his cousins, Canyon and Carson.
My boy...turning all gangsta.
More pics with the cousins.

Girl's Camp -
Every summer our church ward takes the young women camping for about a week. It's just as important for girls to enjoy and learn about being in the wilderness as it is the boys. They have to learn and pass off camp skills such as building fires without matches, poisonous plant identification, and wilderness first aid. Aubrey looks forward to it every year.
The ride - squeaky clean, smiling girls ready for an adventure.
Camping also consists of making crafts and other group activities.
Performing skits are also a big part of the girl's camp experience. Not sure what character Aubrey is playing here, but she looks like she's having a blast.
Games.
All the girls took turns to help prepare the meals.
Hiking!
The girls went fishing and boating.
Spiritual testimony meetings are always special and powerful. Each girl is given the opportunity to stand in front of the group and express her feelings about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Aubs and Desi with one of her most favorite leaders, Dayna.
Horseriding!
Bishop Anderson
Giddyup cowgirls.
Some of the girls had made up a funny song about the cute, young cowboy that was one of their guides.
